Situated in a tranquil setting close to the town centre of Uckfield, Ridgewood Manor Care Centre offers nursing and personal care for 17 older people. Ridgewood Manor is a detached property set in mature grounds in close proximity to the town amenities and transport systems. Accommodation is provided on two floors, all bedrooms are single occupancy, the majority having ensuite facilities. Our cosy lounge situated at ground floor level has a very homely feel. As an alternative, residents can sit quietly in the sun lounge which has views over the garden. The garden is well maintained with flowering plants, trees and extensive lawn area. You need not be alone at Ridgewood Manor. You will meet new friends and have the opportunity of joining in with the regular activities and entertainment. Visitors are welcome at any time and the home is very much involved in village activity. We aim to treat everyone as an individual with dignity, respect and encourage them to make the most of their stay with us.

Led by an experienced and qualified Manager, the staff at Ridgewood Manor Care Centre work as a team committed to the Halcyon Care philosophy. Every effort is made to provide individual care which promotes privacy and dignity and to understand each resident's needs and preferences. Registered nurses are on duty throughout the day and night, supported by well trained care assistants. All staff participate in the home's training programme and personal development scheme.

Meals ..

All meals are created by our own catering team. Fresh produce is used and residents are involved in developing menu choices. Beverages and snacks are available at any time night and day. Meals are served in the dining room and can be taken in your own room should you choose. Individual diets and personal preferences are catered for.

Activities ..

We believe it is important to keep active and to make the most of every day. Events at Ridgewood Manor include visiting singers and entertainers, a weekly programme of varied activities, carpet bowls, bingo, baking, craft sessions and outings are arranged to places of interest.
